Nicholas C. Guerra, Esq., LL.M.
Prior to founding Guerra TWP, Nicholas C. Guerra, Esq. (“Nick”), was a Partner in the Tax, Trusts and Estates department at a multi-state Am Law 200 firm.
Previously, Nick practiced tax, trusts and estates law at two Am Law 100 firms representing actors, directors, writers and producers residing in Los Angeles, CA, start-up companies located in Silicon Valley, CA and hedge fund managers residing in New York, NY.
Nick earned his B.A. in Accounting from the University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting in 2005, his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2007 and his LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2009.

Jaime A. Goldman, Esq.
Jaime assists clients in general estate planning (Revocable Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Directives) as well as sophisticated wealth transfer planning techniques using a variety of trust designs. She also establishes business entity structures and assists in a multitude of cutting-edge techniques involved in creative estate and tax planning.

Jason Whiting, Esq., LL.M.
Jason has practiced trusts and estates law for over twenty years, assisting high-net worth individuals with general estate planning and advanced wealth transfer and business succession strategies such as irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs), grantor-retained annuity trusts (GRATs), qualified personal residence trusts (QPRTs), gifts and sales of assets to “intentionally defective” grantor trusts (IDGTs) and “beneficiary defective” inheritance trusts (BDITs).
California state income tax minimization, California property tax planning and wealth protection strategies are also significant parts of Jason’s practice. Additionally, Jason assists philanthropy-minded clients with forming and administering charitable organizations private foundations and public charities, as well as establishing charitable remainder trusts (CRTs) and charitable lead trusts (CLTs).
Jason previously worked with Nick Guerra, Managing Partner of Guerra TWP, for several years at an Am Law 100 firm implementing the above strategies. Jason joined Nick at Guerra TWP with the goal of continuing to provide Am Law 100 legal expertise, but also providing clients with the additional benefits of greater responsiveness and a reduced fee structure that only a boutique estate and tax planning firm can offer.
Jason earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, his J.D. from the University of Southern California School of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He is admitted to practice law in California and heads Guerra TWP’s Manhattan Beach office.
